Fishing

In Funäsfjällen there are more than 200 mountain lakes and over 300 kilometres of flowing waters. No matter if you prefer fly-fishing or spin fishing or just fish from the rowing boat, there’s something here just for you. Here you can fish in a different lake every day without bumping into any other anglers. Grayling, char and trout all feel at home in our waters.

Fiskepasset Angling Licence

Funäsfjällen is now one of the largest areas in Sweden for licensed fishing. Here you’ll find everything from easily accessible family waters to crystal clear mountain streams for the more experienced. With the angling licence in Funäsfjällen you get access to all fishing waters in west Härjedalen, almost 15,000 hectares of waters.

Fiskepasset is available for 1, 3 and 7 days as well as an annual pass.

Prices: 1 day 150 SEK, 3 day 300 SEK, 7 days 550 SEK, annual 1,800 SEK.

At Fiskepasset.se you can find maps and information about the area. There is also information about service outlets, fishing stores and fishing guides.

Angling licence

If you want to fish for just the odd day or two and know where you want to fish, you can buy a daily licence for individual fish conservation areas. There are seven different areas and all licences are available at the tourist office in Funäsdalen. In the surrounding villages you can buy licences for the respective area.
