Röstvålen. Red. 17.5 kilometers. 220 meter difference in altitude. 7 hours.
Floral magnificent and a walk along Sveån to Röstvålens top with splendid views of Helags and Skars.

START LOCATION:
Ramundbergets Fjällgård/Ramundberget Camping.
Several Gold tours starts from here so make sure you follow the signs GULDTUR 2 until they separate.

Description:
Follow the trails that go north from Ramundberget. When you passed the bridge over Ljusnan hold the path to the left towards Klinken, marked Pilgrimsturen. The path winds in the valley west to the Norwegian border, partly along Ljusnan northern shore. During the long flowering you will experience an enchanting floral splendor. In June you can explore the vast fields of wood anemones. In July and the first half of August it´s not impossible to see the Brown hill and other rare orchids.

Along the trail there are signs with good information about the pilgrim walk and sights. Turn from the path and follow the pilgrim route and Guldtur No. 2 up to Röstvålen. There are many nice places to stop along Sveån, for example the windshield by Färdmansrösta. Here you have chance to see at least 8 different orchids along the trail. Make a detour to edge of the ravine to admire all the small waterfalls. Take a breake in the windshield.

The view of the mountain Skars, 1594 meters above sea level and Helags massif 1796 above sea level is magnificent.
After the break, follow the Pilgrim route towards Giertebaune and to the cross marked trail.
Take to the left after 2 km south to Giertebaunestugan. Follow the summer trail to the left down towards Ljusnan.

Down in the valley you go to the left and follow the trail north of Ljusnan back to Ramundberget, over the bridge in the same place as you started the tour and up to the hotel parking.
